The top FMX World Championship included the capital of Greece, Athens, in its programme and offered a unique spectacle inside the Dionyssos Marble Quarry. Red Bull X-Fighters came to Athens to breathe new life into the Greek capital in the facilities of the historic Dionyssos Marble Quarry, marking its first Greek tour stop.
On 12 June, Red Bull X-Fighters led the Greek audience on a breath-taking journey, linking past and present. Impressive night shots and videos from the Dionyssos Marble Quarry travelled all over the world, highlighting the event for which more than 500 people worked hard for several months, as well as the supremacy and uniqueness of the Dionyssos Quarry.
The truly impressive beauty of the quarry, uniquely illuminated to meet the needs of the race, created a unique environment for the races. The uniqueness of the landscape as well as the excellent organisation of the event clearly demonstrated that Athens can successfully host major events.
